  1. I love this quote because it’s something I am struggling with right now. I am trying to get a sense of self and distinguish my authentic self from the learned impulses I developed as an abused child. It’s hard and confusing but your quote captures that need to unbecome the things that are not you, the things that you learnt as coping mechanisms to survive.
